Hi everyone!

I'm Velian,
A 21yo boy who really enjoys every kind of digital and traditional art.

Since I was a child I've used to get lost at anything that was "art"
Like a painting, a book, a comicbook, a music..

My idea of art, like the ones of everyone of you, is obviously personal.
In my opinion art doesn't need to be inspired by reality or to contain some kind of messagge for the world, but it just has to create emotions.
A good example of art is something that can trigger a vibration in your mind or, in a poetic way, in your heart.
With this conception in mind, I just love a photo for its colors, a phrase for the beautiful choose of words or for the breathless emotions that it contains.

For these reasons I found my self falling in love with every kind of art of the human beings.

Anyway, since I was a child I've always wanted the ability to create something.
I had puppets during my childhood, some of them really big, some of them much much smaller with whom I've used to enjoy my days creating each time different stories.
By the time I grow older this pleasure of creating stories, characters, events, has changed a lot, up to the 3D.

With 3Dimensional art you can create just everything you have in mind. Do you want an Hurricane in a futuristic city? Or a fantasy hero looking for treasures? You can do it.

Unluckily It's not easy as you may think.
At the very beginning I thought: If I create a ball, then it will be automatically attracted by gravity, and It will bounce and act like a normal sphere.

By the way That's not how it does work XD.

When you create a sphere, You have to set its radious, the subdivision number (how many polygons it will initially have), its material, its position into the space (x,y,z coordinates), . And than If you want it bouncing you have to create a plane, estabilish dynamics, gravity, their mass and also keyframes for the animation... in short, many and many things... and we are just talking about a bouncing ball XD.

Three-dimensional graphic is just like that: you can create anything, but in order to do it properly you must know how to :(.

And for this reason I attended a 3d course about one of the most used animation program of the world, Autodesk Maya. It was 1 year long and at the end they gave me an official Autodesk certificate of "Advanced knowledge" :)

After that I partecipate at a master course about advanced modeling ad special effects and at this moment I'm currently working at a company called Digital Comoedia for the production of digital contents.

Anyway Maya isn't the only program that I use. Another one is 3ds Max, that I use the most at work, and obiviusly my favourite, Zbrush, a 3d-sculpting program. With Zbrush It's like as If your model is transformed into a piece of clay that you can make alive :)
